HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Not only is it the start of a new year, but we are also celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Gold Coast Region. We kicked off the anniversary at the Holiday in Paradise Party at Margaritaville on December 3rd where we unveiled the 60th anniversary logo and the tagline: “60 Years and Still No Substitute”

We are lucky to be living in a region where we can enjoy and drive our Porsches year-round and have two drive & dines scheduled for this month. The first is to the Islamorada Fish Company and for the second, we are bringing back the popular Stone Crab Run to Everglades City. Thank you to Cynthia Fluhart an Ian Gerada for organizing these great events! The 60th Anniversary committee has been planning events for 2023 and in February, we will have the first of three 60th Anniversary themed tech sessions: The Evolution of Porsches. This one will focus on early air-cooled Porsches. Do you want to get up close to Porsche Club Racing? You can still sign up to volunteer at the 48 Hours at Sebring Feb. 2-5. This club race is run by dedicated volunteers from both the Gold Coast and Suncoast Regions. Come for a day or the weekend; it is a fun event to work as a volunteer at or to attend as spectator.
