Youth Developmental League (ZP)
The Youth Developmental Basketball League offers instruction as well as a competitive basketball league that allows the players the opportunity to grow and learn the game in a fun and exciting environment. Games will be officiated by IHSA Referees. Games will be played on Saturdays starting October 30th between 8:30am and 4:00pm, depending on number of total teams in the league. Volunteer Parent Coaches are needed for the success of the league. If you are interested in coaching please contact Zach Price, Athletic Supervisor at zachprice@pdlg.org. Please note: practice days/times may change based on the availability of volunteer coaches. The first week of practice will be player evaluations. Kids First certified coaches plan a combination of sports and games ranging from competitive to non-competitive and leisure. Kids First Flag Football (ZP)
This class combines flag football fundamental preparation with flag football games. Coaches will teach football player techniques with body balance safety positioning, giving a player confidence to enjoy the game of football. The first two weeks are dedicated to understanding the game through team competitive drills of how to play various positions.
