Canadian Charolais Youth Association

With November all wrapped up, all of the fall shows are now complete with several CCYA members competing in them and doing very well. The Charolais breed had very strong representation this year, and held their representation up to par with last year. This year’s semen auction was a tremendous success! We held our sale in conjunction with the National Charolais Sale at the Toronto Royal this year. We had 3 semen lots and one embryo lot. The National

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Blackbern Farms, ON; Langstaff Charolais, ON and Kale Gist, AB, for purchasing the 4 lots and continually supporting our leadership scholarship program! All proceeds are dedicated to awarding those youth who have contributed to the Charolais breed and demonstrated their leadership among other Charolais youth members.
