WENDY EAVENSON
Wendy Eavenson is a lifelong Presbyterian. She and her husband, Bill, joined Peachtree in 1985, raising adult children William (Savannah) and Annie here. Wendy is from Baltimore via the Philadelphia area and attended Wake Forest University, with professional certifications from the Wharton School and GA Tech. She retired from IBM and Lenovo in 2015 as Executive Director, Global OEM Sales. Having served a number of terms as a Peachtree Elder, she currently chairs the Zacchaeus Fellows Advisory Board and serves on the Bill Maness Good Samaritan Scholarship Board, is a Younique Master Trainer, a MOPS Mentor, sings in the Choir, and serves on the Wedding Guild. Joe Ellis has been an active member of Peachtree for 30 years and has served once on Session. Joe has served on the Elder Nominating Committee, as a table leader for IRONMEN, as a volunteer for LaAmistad, and on the leadership team of the Builders’ class. Joe has enjoyed being a mission team participant on trips to Ecuador, India, and Guatemala. Joe and his wife, Lina, have been married for 25 years and have baptized their two children, Matt and Addie, at Peachtree. Joe is a Vanderbilt University graduate and Senior Vice President in the employee benefits practice at USI Insurance.
JOE ELLIS

Mary Mullins
Mary Mullins started attending Peachtree in 2016. She and her husband, Ross, were married at Peachtree in 2019, and they recently celebrated the birth of their son, Elliott, in June 2022. Mary enjoys serving with Peachtree’s Student Ministry and the Women’s Ministry leadership team. She has served on the Young Adult Ministry leadership team, Zaccheaus Fellows committee, and has participated in the Fuller Theological Seminary Spiritual Formation Cohort. Mary moved all over the country as she grew up but spent her most formative years in Peachtree City, Georgia. She attended Indiana University, where she played volleyball. Mary started her career in sports media and is now a Global Category Manager with Kids2.


Jay O’Meara is a metro Atlanta native, born and raised in Marietta. He and his wife, Sandy—both graduates of the University of Georgia (where they met)—have been members of Peachtree since 2002. They have been married for twenty-one years and are the proud parents of Jacob (16), Katelyn (14), and Jackson (11). Jay has been active on various committees at Peachtree, served as a Children’s Sunday school teacher, is a member of IRONMEN, and is a past member of the Session. He and Sandy are passionate about global missions and are scheduled to participate in a family mission trip to Costa Rica this summer. They also support the Outreach Foundation and Forman Christian College in Lahore, Pakistan. Jay is an Executive Vice President with CBRE, a commercial real estate service and advisory firm.

JOHN W. PATRICK
John W. Patrick has been attending Peachtree for over 20+ years, where he met his wife Katherine, of almost 18 years, in the old "pickup Pres" Crossings Sunday school class. They live in North Buckhead and have an 11-year-old son Jack who was baptized at Peachtree. John has served multiple years as an adult and children’s Sunday school leader and hospitality greeter. He is currently serving as a Stephen Minister and attends IRONMEN. As an Eagle Scout, John is passionate about Boy Scouts, where he has been an Assistant Scoutmaster for around 19 years and a Cub Scout Packmaster at Pace Academy for the last three years. He is a North Buckhead Civic Association board member, serving as a zoning chair. John also loves raising money for CURE Childhood Cancer, where he supports a friend who lost a child. Professionally, John has been a residential real estate agent at Harry Norman, Realtors for over 21 years, where he has been in the top 10% of the Atlanta Realtors Association and is a Phoenix award winner. John attended Mercer University, where he received a BBA in Finance and an MBA in MIS and Management.

Donna Ray
Donna Ray grew up in St. Simons and, after graduating from the University of Georgia, moved to Atlanta and joined Peachtree in 1985. She has been happily married to Mike for 35 years and has recently retired as COO of Momar, Incorporated. Donna has served as an elder on four occasions, as usher vice chair and chair of the Evangelism Committee, on the Board of the Peachtree Trust, the Elder Nominating Committee, and the steering committees for The Gift Goes On and Word Before Work. Currently, Donna enjoys welcoming new members through Exploring Peachtree and is honored and excited to be called to serve again.
Melinda Rue
Melinda Rue and her husband, Jon, have been active members of Peachtree since 1986. A native of Rome, Georgia, Melinda attended Western Kentucky University. She is a retired elementary school teacher, most recently having taught at The Lovett School.

Melinda has been to Mexico, and Kolkata, India, on mission trips and recently traveled to Israel with a group from Peachtree. She also has traveled to Tanzania to teach and serve children at Rift Valley Children’s Village. Melinda has been a Women’s Community Bible Study member for many years. She has enjoyed being a Mentor Mom for MOPS for several years. Melinda has taught at VBS. Their family volunteered with Childspring International and hosted children who were in Atlanta for medical treatment.
Melinda and Jon have four adult children who grew up at Peachtree: Julianna (Spencer Cagle), Elizabeth, Jonathan (Amanda), and Daniel (Kelly). They have been blessed with six grandchildren and another on the way. Melinda has served as an Elder on two occasions and is honored and excited to serve again.
