Building a Constructivist Classroom One day training course that introduces the concept of constructivism in learning and teaching. The course aims at encouraging students to learn by blending new information with existing knowledge. The course helps teachers capitalize on student knowledge and shift from product-orientated learning to process-orientated learning. Leading the way for successful Implementation of Common Core Assessments This one-day workshop offers a balanced view of assessment under the Common Core and provides a deep focus on how the standards will drive changes. It aims to effectively prepare students for these new assessments and to meet the ultimate goal of the Common Core - producing students who are truly thinkers ready for a robust career or college.

Using the Common Core State Standards with Special Learning Needs This one day workshop ensures that teachers and school leaders are familiar with what implementing the CCSS will mean for students with special learning needs. They will also consider frameworks for implementing the CCSS for ELA and Math and explore how to accommodate instructional needs.
