We humans are part of an interlinked world crossed by overlapping have spilled out along 2020 have profoundly altered the social system, revealing deep weak spots in its foundations and pushing to the limit its our positions of comfort and privilege, we could get a taste of our own role and scale within these forces. This context has called into question our anthropocentric mindset and has led us to critically revise how we think about the (eco)systems we are part of, how we act within them, what is our agency to drive meaningful shifts, and which are our tools to do so. For nine months in which life and art became part of a single space, we, three transdisciplinar artists and designers in collaboration with a team of researchers from diverse backgrounds, undertook a series of actions to explore the way in which our individual and collective agency methodologies, we imagined perspectives to defy our dualist, linear and cartesian point of view. This was our strategy to question how, as our system regains its speed, we can transit towards a more connected sense
of being. A systemic thinking toolkit, dozens of conversations, a breathing body, a poem and a visual essay have unfolded during all this time, giving shape to the project AIR. Air [noun, uncountable], the mixture of gases we breathe; air [noun, uncountable], the space above the ground or that circulates everything; but also AIR, acronym of ‘artists in residency’ —or more accurately, artists in remoteness. Air that we have lacked too often during these nine months. Air that can be the deepest kind of embrace, in these times pierced by radical forms of isolation. This pictorial is a way of weaving our ideas around the concepts of system, agency and closeness, from a non-linear approach and through a thoughtful, yet poetic, approach, unlinked from objects and procedural and tensions that arise when trying to embrace complexity.

in many areas today. It seems inevitable to assume that its arrival in architectural design will imply a focus on economic criteria, leaving aside those more intangible criteria that make architecture more than just a living space. In the face of this uncertain future, this paper presents a model for dataset generation and AI training that, precisely, puts the focus on those less immediate criteria, presenting some intuitions of spaces that have been called “the dreams of the machine”. It can be said quite correctly that, since man is able to abstract the spaces in which he lives, the history of architecture goes hand in hand with the history of his representation. From the two-dimensional abstract drawings, through the discovery of the laws that govern perspective and design, to modern computer work techniques, architectural representation is a preliminary step to architectural materialization. This statement demonstrates the limitations that the architectural design has by default: it will be based on the knowledge, experience and resources of the designer. As the saying goes, everything that has a name exists; therefore, what has no name does not exist. If everything depends on of opportunities with everything that is not written, that is not thought
beforehand? What about all those spaces that have not been imagined due to the limits of the mind that designs them? that void?
The model we have developed has been trained with a dataset of three-dimensional models of “master” works of architecture, belonging to the Swiss architect Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, with the intention of checking if the AI is capable of abstracting characteristics like the style. These new spaces, are still on the edge of the dream, hallucination, and scenarios. That is, the AI ”imagines” and proposes architecture as it progresses, though the person, the human is always at the core of the process.

Mixed reality technologies have revolutionized the perception of our environment by projecting dynamic information and meanings onto the physical space. The virtual world, host of the unseizable properties of our surroundings, is more intertwined than ever in our daily interactions with technology. These experiences are framed normally in screen-based interfaces that overlay digital artifacts onto real-time video feed. AR mobile frameworks depend on intermediate devices that shift the augmentation from the very own surface of the physical space to the digital screen. This recovers presumably some agency to the user which can decide freely when and where that augmentation could happen. However, the perception of these augmented spaces is constrained by the display’s frame and it is supervised by the limitations of the device, either mobile or situated. So, how could we preserve the agency in this process, cast
as a point cloud in the memory of a computer. This makes it easy to collect architectural spaces from the past and imaginary futures and locally and temporally placed in the same room. Data will later be map back to the reality with a video projector which will displace the dimensions of the virtual onto the physical space. Although immersive, our goal is to create an installation that allows the visitor to navigate and interact in the process of spatial augmentation. Space should not exist to be contemplated, hence the image cannot be static and its frame should not be static. Delivering real-time video feed to dynamic settings brings new challenges that require the precision of robotic mediators in the process.

Python, Audacity, Rhinoceros (grasshopper), Houdini (VEX) “Reading the Turmoil” is an immersive project that provides a new reading experience to the user as a narrator. It is based on the short story “The Library” by Jorge Luis Borges and intends to recreate that mythical library in which all the books are contained, but in the digital era, providing a visual representation of it. Facing the endless number of existing applications and websites that ease the solution of the problems raised, it does not seem out of place to ask the following questions: What aspects of the task cannot be solved with existing applications? What can make this tool special and useful? Does an user want more applications on his device? that his or her journey does not involve the use of any vehicle. librares three.js, cs, html Framed within the short-time workshop “Interactive Hypermaedias” developed with Hyperstudio, this web project presents an interactive and interactive environment that shows in an extreme way the contemporary ways of communication. Taking the relation between image and comunication held by the paintings of the surrealist painter Magritte as a starter point, the project uses the most used current application that combines boths words and images: Instagram and the “hashtags”. As the main goal of the workshop was to use the online 3d library “three.js”, all the development is in a tridimensional environment where the user can navigate. The operation of the web is quite simple:
The user writes a sentence on the left superior part of the screen and the web gets access to the Instagrama API, searching, for each word, for the last photo published that has it as a hashtag. on the front, it shows that image and locates it at a random point in the space. The project is a journey through architectures which are today non-existent but yet recognizable and turned into references and collective myths in painting. The selected architectures are those represented in masterpieces of painting. They have been undressed and recreated, using scaled models, completing and representing spaces partially hidden by the objects used in the painting. The project reveals a temporary and dimensional transformation process through time that begins with the original and old construction of the space, its later use and decoration for the purpose of the painting, its photographic process (and the model destruction). Reviving the room spaces and returning them to their third dimension with the construction of models (with a picture taken later) in a game of transmutation of languages that goes from architecture to painting,
these spaces as a symbol. This process of alchemy (a process deeply associated with the purpose of obtaining photographic images), of overwriting is referred to in the title of this series: palimpsest. The naked space that is photographed feels like a palimpsest, preserving traces of one or more overlapping and partially deleted writings and inviting a reading of multiple layers that communicate among themselves (and with other pictures) suggesting a new perception of the represented space, its value as a symbol and its ability to represent a particular socio-economic, cultural and political order. Palimpsest: a manuscript or piece of writing material on which later something reused or altered but still bearing visible traces of its earlier form.
