Andy's Kitchen

I can hardly believe that I am writing my final editor's message for 2021. This year has been quite a journey. The COVID-19 pandemic has cast a long shadow over every aspect of our lives - and we are still not free from its far-reaching ramifications. However, we are making headway. Nonetheless, it still seems that the last 12 months have flown faster than all of the rest.

This year, we are looking forward to a more festive season than in the past because our Fairfield Women's Club has decided to organize a Christmas parade and Holiday Market to add pazazz to the season. Our local school bands, orchestras, and choral groups are gearing up to feature holiday concerts. The Traveling Seniors of Cypress will host their Annual Cookie and Gift Exchange. Neighborhood churches are preparing to share the season's joy. Second Baptist Church will have a live Nativity scene on December 9th and 10th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
