Fairfield Women’s Club Thanks the Community

Submitted by Peppia D. Sherrouse THANK YOU FAIRFIELD! Because of our amazing community, the annual Fairfield 4th of July celebration was a huge success. Our parade was full of your creative and patriotic displays, of family and friendship as only Fairfield could do it. Thank you again to our Grand Marshal, Lloyd Billingsly, a US Army veteran, and Fairfield resident for 25 years. The parade was followed by so many fun community connections at Salyards Middle School. Many of our local Fairfield resident-owned businesses greeted neighbors and made new friends. All while the kids played and had a great time. Kate Conrey, President of FFWC said “We are so grateful to all of our sponsors who helped make it all happen, and to all of our family of residents who make this event one that we – Fairfield – are known for.” If you are a Fairfield or Lakes of Fairhaven resident and would like to get involved, we invite you to be our guest at a Fairfield Women’s Club meeting. We meet at the Bradford Creek Club House on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30. Our August meeting will be 8/16/22. This group of caring women, network with each other, learn together and work to help our community thrive through fundraising and community events. Join us as we dive into the planning for our Christmas market and parade! Find us at Fairfieldwomensclub.org
