NEWS 2015 We are happy to announce that Elias Henderson is one of our True Friends! He’s a versatile Extreme Skier who constantly challenging himself and makes the impossible possible. He’s therefore perfect as one of our test partners and thereby an important part of our product development.

TECHNOLOGY RECCO® AVALANCHE RESCUE SYSTEM For us safety comes first, always. All our ski wear are equipped with RECCO® avalanche rescue system, an advanced rescue technology. RECCO® technology makes you searchable to professional rescuers in the event of an avalanche accident. The technology enables rapid directional pinpointing of a victim’s precise location using harmonic radar. The two-part technology consists of a RECCO® detector used by 700+ rescue organizations worldwide, and RECCO® reflectors that are integrated into the garment. The RECCO® Rescue System is sophisticated radar technology, but for the end user it is easy to use. Organized rescue teams can use the lightweight hand-held detector on the ground or from a helicopter, which allows for fast searching of large or dangerous areas. Skiers and riders are equipped with RECCO® reflectors that need no attention or effort. RECCO® reflectors requires no batteries, are maintenance free and has a virtually unlimited lifespan.

WATERPROOFNESS & BREATHABILITY The waterproof/breathability of fabrics is typically describes with two numbers. The first is in millimeter (mm) and is a measure of how waterproof a fabric is. In the case of a 20k or 20,000mm fabric, if you put a square tube with inner dimension of 1”x1” over a piece of said fabric, you can fill it with water to a height of 10,000mm before water would begin to leak through. The higher the number, the more waterproof the fabric. The second number is a measure of how breathable the fabric is, it’s normally expressed in terms of how many grams of water vapor can pass through a square meter of the fabric from the inside to the outside in a period of 24b hours.
