Welcome to the Koenig Ranch 14 Annual Production Sale!
Thank you for your support and interest. We continue to produce 100% IA
Registered Angus seed stock in the tough range conditions of the Missouri Red Breaks, where drought happens, 70 mph winds and 100º above to 30º below temperatures continue to happen. Hardy genetics live here! This year’s offering is backed by 26 years of proven foundation bloodlines to present to you the best in Red Angus: maternal efficiency, calving ease, growth, good disposition, longevity and phenotype correctness. Predictability.
* Bred in native pastures. Natural service at 40 cows per bull requires fertility. AIing heifers and a few select cows only. Rotated often in all terrain and weather requires good feet and legs.
* All classes calved, weighed and tagged in pastures requires calving ease, mothering ability, vigor and good disposition.
* Weaned and developed in pastures. Trained on electric fence. Rationed long-stem hay, cow cake, and natural mineral (Redmond and New Life) for overall health when needed.
* Bulls get selected at 10 months (approximately 1/3 of the crop) to naturally mature and prove themselves. Tested and worked one week before sale day and hauled to Glasgow. Heifers from the heart of the herd.
All cattle do well in a feed yard. Foragers excel. We bring the best to you fit, fertile and ready for breeding.
Sincerely,
Francis & Arley KoenigKRP PAY DAY BJ #784545
