With four beaches, regular festivals, thriving nightlife, Stone Age caves and tombs, Iron Age forts, Norman castles and much more it could take a lifetime to discover Tenby. Visitors are spoilt for choice when it comes to places to eat and drink, and there’s ample choice of accommodation to fit all tastes, budgets and ages. The harbour is one of the most photographed scenes in Britain and from its picturesque quay you can embark on boat trips to nearby Caldey Island and its Cistercian Monastery.
Golf - There’s a choice of two very fine courses - the challenging championships links course just west of the town and the lovely parkland course at Trefloyne, both extending to 18 holes. Other popular attractions nearby include Silent World in Tenby, The Dinosaur Experience at Great Wedlock, Heatherton Country Sports Park and Manor House Wildlife Park all situated about two and a half miles out of town on the B4318. Penally, a pretty little village on top of a hill west of Tenby, enjoys superb views over Tenby golf course and South Beach.
