PENN’S WAY RAISES OVER $1.66 MILLION, SURPASSES GOAL On behalf of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and our University of Pennsylvania partners, we are proud to announce that the 2016 Penn’s Way campaign, ‘Giving is Penn’s Way’, has raised over $1.66 million dollars exceeding the goal of $1.55 million. The health system raised $900,000, which is a record high both in real dollars as well as in percentage over its goal. The participation rate was also a record high at 80 percent. Thank you to all of our staff who contributed to the campaign. Your generosity will have a major impact on the countless charities and communities we serve.

“ Penn Care at Home staff made their annual Holiday visit to
homebound patients with some Holiday cheer, caroling and giving a special gift to each patient. Medical staff routinely visit these patients to provide various home care and hospice services, including nursing care and various rehabilitation therapies.
”
Every year, we continue to set bold goals and reach an even broader population in Philadelphia, the Mid-Atlantic Region, and around the world. You have demonstrated, once again, that giving is Penn’s way of fulfilling its service mission. Again, thank you for supporting our annual charitable campaign. - Ralph W. Muller
