BE SOMEBODY’S UMBRELLA PPMC CELEBRATES PATIENT EXPERIENCE WEEK In 2014, CPUP launched Patient Experience week, a week dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of service excellence, and recognizing and rewarding employees for the important work they do all year long to improve our patients’ experience. This year, the weeklong celebration expands to the entire health system. Throughout the week, activities will serve as an opportunity to appreciate the full breadth of the clinical team, and refocus on the perspective of the patients who are at the heart of the care we provide every day. Events taking place each day will focus on different theme that is part of the patient experience. Monday, October 5: Patient experience story telling Tuesday, October 6: A Perfect “10” Visit or Stay
All Employee Meetings Be sure to attend an All Employee Meeting to learn more about PPMC and the Health System and have your questions answered by hospital leaders. Sessions are held three times a month for one hour and take place in various locations throughout our campus. Please check your email monthly for locations.

Wednesday, October 7: Teamwork Thursday, October 8: Hardwiring Service Excellence into our Culture Friday, October 9: Coordinated and Compassionate Care PPMC leadership encourage faculty and staff to participate in games throughout the week to earn healthy rewards points, and complete challenges to help PPMC win the Penn Medicine GOLD prize, which will be awarded to the entity with the highest percentage of staff participation.
