PENN MEDICINE’S 5TH ANNUAL MAGNET GALA

A letter from PPMC’s Michele Volpe, Executive Director; Kevin Fosnocht, MD, Chief Medical Officer; and Michael Becker, Chief Nursing Officer Faculty and Staff,

On June 15, PPMC faculty and staff joined Penn Medicine colleagues at the fifth annual Magnet Gala.

Held at Drexelbrook, the vent hosted over 700 attendees.

Sponsorships and funds raised at the gala go to support the Donor Human Milk Bank, community service projects, and the purchase of scales for Congestive Heart Failure patients to self manage their weight at home.

A sincere thank you to everyone for the great work that is being done at PPMC, which was recently recognized

by U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of the Best Hospitals.

Penn Presbyterian was ranked third in the Philadelphia region and seventh in Pennsylvania, with eight highperforming specialties!
