May 23rd E MAY DAYS PARAD Noon
Full steam ahead – this year, Kaslo will celebrate is 124th May Days! Every year at this time, our sleepy little town awakens and gears up, becoming a vibrant, engaging centre of activity. May Days brings together neighbours and friends to mark the end of a long, cold winter. There's so much to do and take in! New this year is Kaslo's first steampunk event which includes steampunk market stalls, costumes, a community wide quest-game and much more! Be sure to check out the Show and Shine on Front Street with its amazing spectacle of unique and rare cars along with sensational Steam Machines.
Wander over to Vimy Park which is full of activities all weekend long! There's a market offering great crafts, jewellery, artwork and yummy food. Enjoy some 'home cooking' while you listen to all sorts of live music, or take in a slo-pitch game. Kid Centric Saturday is back by popular demand, offering great fun such as kid's races, Joshua's Giant Bubbles, Mr. Mojo and more! This year features not one, but two days of our popular Logger Sports event, Saturday and Sunday. The helicopter rides and the horse show offer 'edge of your seat' thrills! On Monday, - after the parade that goes around twice- the weekend festivities culminate in the children's May Pole dance.
