Dos lenguas, la inglesa y la española, se unen y dan origen a este espectáculo que coge como referencia cuentos y leyendas del Mar Intermedio según los árabes, del Mare Nostrum según los romanos, del Mar Blanco según los turcos, del Gran Verde según los egipcios o del Mar Entre Tierras según los latinos. En definitiva, nos sumergimos en la tradición oral de algunos de los pueblos bañados por el Mar Mediterráneo. Two languages, English and Spanish, unite and bring you this show that takes as an inspiration stories and legends from the Intermediate Sea according to the arabs, Mare Nostrum according to the romans, White Sea according to the turks, the Great Green according to the egyptians or Sea Between Lands according to latins. In short, we immerse ourselves in the oral tradition of the villages bathed by the Mediterranean Sea.
La historia
“Qamar al- Zamán”, cuento de Túnez. Dos diablesas quieren jugar con la inocencia de dos príncipes y, sin querer, hacen que se enamoren. Ese amor de ida y vuelta, lleno de avatares y sinsabores tiene un final feliz gracias a los sentimientos tan profundos que sienten el uno con el otro. El cuento de Qamar al- Zamán es la historia principal, pero en ella aparecerán diferentes personajes que contarán otros cuentos como “El vendedor de imposibles”, cuento de la tradición oral española y “Abdel Salâm”, cuento de Israel, ambas historias sobre la búsqueda del ser querido.
The story
“Qamar al-Zamán”, a story from Tunisia: Two devils want to play with the innocence of a prince and a princess and unintentionally make them fall in love. This back and forth love, full of ups and downs and troubles has a happy ending, thanks to the deep feelings that they have towards each other. The main story follows Qamar al-Zamán, but different characters will appear telling other stories that like “The seller of impossibles”, a tale from the Spanish oral tradition and “Abdel Salâm”, a story from Israel, both stories about the search of the beloved one.
