Janet Tran serves as the the Director of the Center for Civics,Education,and Opportunity for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute She joined the Foundation in 2010 to help design the Foundation's non-partisan civic learning portfolio,answering President Reagan?s call for an ?informed patriotism ?With the goal of cultivating the next generation of citizen leaders,the Reagan Foundation Education team delivers award-winning simulations,teacher curriculum,student programming,and grants over one million dollars in scholarships annually.

Elizabeth Pinkerton has a wide-ranging career in government, politics,and public affairs She is a Principal at Rosslyn Partners, advising clients on coalition-building, engagement strategies,issue formulation,strategic partnerships,executive search, and government relations Her clients have included publicly traded companies and nonprofit organizations working on issues including trade, transportation,tax,national security,civics education,government structure as well as political campaigns

A veteran of multiple administrations and transitions at the state and federal level,Elizabeth was Deputy Director of Personnel for the 2016-2017 Presidential Transition In 2012,she worked on the Romney Readiness Project,planning for a possible presidential transition outlining options for the potential Cabinet and White House staff

Izzy was in DClast semester and is currently studying in Heidelberg,Germany In DCshe interned with the nonprofit organization,Bread for the World,which is a prominent Christian, anti-hunger organization But what makes Izzy standout the most is that by the time she arrived in DCshe already published a book on youth leadership ANDdeveloped a youth group study guide for this book During her time in high school Izzy launched a youth leadership program for young Christian women and she continues to mentor and support youth and young women Izzy is passionate about both ministry and youth empowerment She is also an incredibly entrepreneurial and innovative thinker with outstanding skills in leadership and communication Possibly the most impressive student I have ever had in my DCglobal leadership program (I remember that during my site visit to Bread for the World I asked her supervisor for feedback. Not only did she give Izzy high praise for her work quality and her dedication,but Izzy also reciprocated and praised her supervisor and the work she did with Bread in the most articulate way possible. I have never had a student provide this kind of positive and insightful feedback to their supervisor before It underscored Izzy's unusual maturity and insight). Since her time in DCIzzy has been selected as a Next Gen Coordinator for the Asian American Christian Collaborative,which is designed to "engage issues around culture,race,justice,and shalom,while remaining grounded in the historic Christian faith, rooted in Scripture and in communion with the global Church" (It was founded by Raymond Chang who is himself a faith-based social entrepreneur who directs the TENx10 initiative which seeks to mobilize and empower Christian youth)

Izzy Koo is a current sophomore at Pepperdine University She is studying English and Religion with plans to pursue youth ministry Izzy?s passions lie within the intersection of youth,faith, and justice. At sixteen,she wrote and published her first book,?Finding God,Finding Me: How I Met God as an Ordinary Teenager? Since then,Izzy has been invited to speak to youth students at various churches and youth retreats nationwide. Last fall,Izzy studied in Washington,DC,and interned at Bread for the World,an incredible Christian anti-hunger organization. More recently,she has been serving as the Next Gen Coordinator at the Asian American Christian Collaborative (AACC),bringing together her interests in faith,culture, advocacy,and youth. Izzy will release a Teen Bible Study Guide called ?Finding You " this summer through AACC

As Insight Housing?s CEOsince 2019,Calleene Egan has overseen significant growth at the organization;tripling the agency?s budget,expanding geographic impact,and serving more people who are need of housing As a mission-focused,impact-driven leader,Calleene guides Insight Housing?s 200+ employees in providing wrap-around person centered approach to supporting individuals in our community who are unhoused She has transformed Insight?s financial and organizational focus,shepherding its transition from a small non-profit organization to a robust permanent supportive housing developer and advocacy organization operating in seven Northern California counties

Under Calleene?s leadership,Insight has developed,secured financing for,and built The Hope Center? Berkeley?s largest permanent supportive housing development which provides dozens of shelter and transitional housing beds as well as over 53 units of permanent supportive housing,along with intensive case management services to support successful transitions out of homelessness and a daily nutritious food program

Insight is in the process of developing,purchasing,building,or rehabilitating additional facilities that will provide sanctuary and dignity to hundreds of unsheltered Californians, Veterans,and people with disabilities

Prior to Insight Housing,Calleene was the Regional Director of Social Enterprise at Caminar, where she oversaw Caminar?s Butte County Region,Supported Housing,and their private pay division Calleene holds a master?s degree from Pepperdine University She lives in Oakland with her family,which includes their beloved dog,Murphy

Hattie Mitchell is a social justice entrepreneur and the Founder of Crete Academy In her role as Principal of Crete,a non-profit,charter school,she serves children in South Los Angeles who are experiencing homelessness and living in poverty

Through an integrated school model,which she developed,she and her team support 133 students in grades TK-6th Prior to founding Crete,Mitchell worked for a national charter management organization expanding their portfolio of charters around the country During her tenure as an educator,Mitchell served as a second and fifth grade teacher,Dean of Students and worked at both the state and federal levels on education policy initiatives As the Chief of Staff for Student Programs at the Louisiana Department of Education,Mitchell led the state's Race to the Top program. In her federal education role,she worked for President Obama,as an education intern and led the first White House Conference on Bullying Prevention

Mitchell holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Learning and Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from California State University Los Angeles,a master's degree in Public Policy from the Pepperdine School of Public Policy,and a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California.
