Mounting procedure B : allows the left foot to strike the left side of the cajón, or the right foot to strike the front of the cajón:

1- Facing the chain post by the side of the holed bottom, remove the two bolts, then line up the two holes of the pedal base on top of the middle and left holes at the bottom of the chain post.

5 - Put the beater in its holder on the pedal post.

2 - Join the two parts with the bolts that were previously removed (the left bolt can be omitted, thus allowing the foot base to be positioned at an alternative angle to 90 degrees, in relation to the chain post).

3 - Join the chain drive to the mobile part of the foot base.

6 - Facing the beater post from the side of its clamp, join the shaft to the right side of the post.

4 - Facing the mounted foot base, join the shaft to the left of the chain post.

7 - Once the pedal is mounted, fix it onto the cajón clamp.

Depending on how the cajòn is fit on the clamp, there are two playing options.

When placed with the front plate parallel to the cajón clamp, you can play it with your left foot striking the left side.

If you fit the front plate perpendicular to the cajón clamp, you can play it with your right foot striking the front.

This cajón pedal is an original and patented model which allows a double set up confi guration. Each one of these mounting options, offers two playing possibilities, as the pedal can be used to hit either the side or the front of the cajón, therefore it can be used in four different ways: for a right footed player, either on the side or the front, just as well as for a left footed player.

The pedal is composed of six parts: foot base, chain post, shaft, beater, beater post, cajón clamp.

Mounting procedure A : allows the right foot to strike the right side of the cajón, or the left foot to strike the front of the cajón:

1- Facing the chain post by the side of the holed bottom, remove the two bolts, then line up the two holes of the pedal base on top of the middle and right holes at the bottom of the chain post.

5 - Put the beater in its holder on the pedal post.

2 - Join the two parts with the bolts that were previously removed (the right bolt can be omitted, thus allowing the foot base to be positioned at an alternative angle to 90 degrees, in relation to the chain post).

3 - Join the chain drive to the mobile part of the foot base.

6 - Facing the beater post from the side of its clamp, join the shaft to the left side of the post.

7 - Once the pedal is mounted, fix it onto the cajón clamp.

Depending on how the cajòn is fit on the clamp, there are two playing options.

When placed with the front plate parallel to the cajón clamp, you can play it with your right foot striking the right side.

If you fit the front plate perpendicular to the cajón clamp, you can play it with your left foot striking the front.
