FASHION EXPOSITION
LIKE ANY GREAT FASHION, THE BUILDING INVOKES THE INTEREST TO WANT TO KNOW MORE. A LIGHT PEEK OF WHAT IS TO COME IS GIVEN BY THE HINT OF THE RUNWAY, LIKE A SLIT UP A SKIRT. THE SWEEPING
WALL GUIDING ONE RESEMBLES THE GRAND GESTURE OF THE TURN OF THE MODEL AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE GRAND ROOM IS LIKE THE FINALLY OF THE SHOW, WHAT EVERYONE IS THERE FOR. ONE CANNOT HAVE A GRAND FINALLY WITHOUT THE PERFECT COLLECTION, IN THIS CASE THE SUBSEQUENT ROOMS, TO GO WITH.

LOCAL MATERIALS
SHIPPING CONTAINERS ARE DONATED BY LOCAL SUBCONTRACTING FIRMS REDUCING COST. RAMMED EARTH WALLS DO NOT REQUIRE SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT OR HIGHLY SKILLED LABOR TO CONSTRUCT.
WATER COLLECTION
_ARQUITECTURA INCLUDES A LARGE UNDERGROUND TANK FOR COLLECTING RAIN WATER. USE IN SHOWERS, TAPS, AND TOILETS.
THE WATER IS FILTERED INTO PORTABLE WATER FOR
SOLAR COLLECTION
ALL ELECTRICAL NEEDS ARE COVERED USING PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS. WATER HEATERS USE HEAT FROM
THE SUN TO PRODUCE HOT WATER, REDUCING ENERGY NEEDS FOR SHOWERS. PLACEMENT OF WINDOWS
USED TO OPTIMIZE DAY LIGHT TO REDUCE THE NEED FOR ELECTRICAL LIGHTING.
PASSIVE HEATING AND COOLING
THE THICKNESS AND STRENGTH OF THE EARTH WALLS CAPTURES THE HEAT SLOWLY DURING THE DAY AND RELEASES IT THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT. ALSO, CLERESTORY WINDOWS ARE ABLE TO OPEN, FOR NATURAL CROSS BREEZE.
