Key Inspections for Homeowners & Flood Insurance Wind Mitigation Inspection • Must have if home was built before March of 2002.

• Must be on the 4 page mitigation form and include color photos.

• If home was re-roofed after March 1st 2002.

Four Point Inspection • Must have if home is over 30 years old.

• This inspection is required in order to bind coverage.

Elevation Certificate • Required for any home that was built after 1974 in any A or V flood zone.

• Homes built prior to 1975 will now receive a subsidized rate. NO elevation certificate is required.
