Food Tastings
Our Private Tastings generally occur on a week day throughout the season. We will call or email you to schedule this date with you & to get your RSVP details for the tastings. You will receive 2 complimentary tickets to attend the tasting, however, additional tickets may be purchase at $20 each. This charge must be prepaid via credit card, cannot be paid at the door and cannot be added to your event bill. If you have a wedding planner, they do not count as one of your 4 guests and can attend the tasting at no charge. Please keep in mind that we are unable to taste the entire menu but you will get to choose a few items for your tasting. We do not offer hors d’oeuvre selections at tastings.
Full Planning Session
Your planning meeting will occur between 30 and 90 days out from your wedding date. During this session we will go over your event timeline, package, meal and bar selections and room set up requirements. Please set aside approximately one hour for this meeting. After this appointment, you will receive a Banquet Event Order and a room diagram that has all of your wedding details. You will be asked to review this document in detail, provide us with any necessary changes and send a signed copy back to our office within 10 days of your wedding date.
Ceremony Rehearsal
You will have a 1 hour time block to rehearse your wedding at your ceremony site. If you do not have a wedding planner, a Persimmon staff member will be onsite at rehearsal to take notes. There will not be any food and beverage service. We would be happy to host your rehearsal dinner (or lunch) at the club following the rehearsal, we have smaller rooms available! Please inquire for menus and availability. If you contract a seperate wedding event like your rehearsal dinner or bridal shower with Persimmon, we will waive the room rental fee.
On Your Wedding Day
When the big day finally arrives, you will be well taken care of! You will have access to the Wedding Suites as early as 9:00am to begin décor, hair and makeup. Please keep in mind that just the linens will be down at this time, and that our staff will be there 3 hours prior to your event to finish the set up, vacuum if necessary, and put on all the finishing touches. If you require more assistance, it is recommended that you get a DayOf Coordinator who will set your place cards, direct vendors, and set what we call “personal items”. We will introduce you, or whomever you place in charge, to our banquet captain, as the Private Events Team is not present at your event. Our Food and Beverage team will communicate with your DJ to stay congruent with your timeline requirements to ensure a smooth and successful event for you and your guests!

Frequently Asked Questions When do we meet to go over details?
After the Tasting, we will set up a time to go over all of the details of your event, such as food selections, room set up, linens, time line, etc. Once we have discussed all of these aspects of your event, our Private Events Department will send you a written confirmation, called a Banquet Event Order. Please review the BEO, sign and return to us at least 10 days prior to your event. If you do not sign and return your event order with any changes that you might have, Persimmon Country Club will not be held responsible for any discrepancies.
Who takes care of day of coordination?
You will be responsible to appoint someone to coordinate your Rehearsal and Ceremony, or ask our Private Events team for referrals for this service. How much time do we have for the rehearsal?
You will have a one hour rehearsal that is previously scheduled with the Private Events Department. It is important that your wedding party be on time as it is likely that we will have more than one rehearsal scheduled.
