Verlena Cakes started about 9 months ago after I finally took the leap to leave my full time office job to study patisserie. It wasn’t my intention to launch the business straight away, it was through knowing some fabulous people in the industry that the first orders trickled through and pretty soon the business took on a life of its own!
style, their wedding inspiration and get a feel for the kind of couple they are and then designing a cake that reflects this. For me, creating a cake is such a creative process and I love every aspect of it- baking and preparing all the elements, crafting sugar flowers and putting all the pieces together to create a spectacular finished product.
I love that a cake can create a visual centrepiece for a wedding, as well as a tasty treat. A big focus for Verlena Cakes is creating something truly delicious that will leave guests wanting more- only fabulous fresh ingredients are used, no premixes in sight! I also offer dessert tables and bonbonnieremacarons, cupcakes, cookies, tarts and more.
I draw on my professional training as a pastry chef to make sure my cakes and sweet treats always taste amazing. This means using fresh produce, free range eggs, and no artificial flavourings.

As a wedding florist it is pretty easy to find inspiration when your studio is full of blooms and embellishments, little handmade tags to tie around pears or delicately written menus for each place setting ~ being a florist for over 17 years I am privileged to spend time in a couples life when they are full of life and love. Often after spending a year planning a wedding with a bride we end up meeting afterwards for coffee to continue to discuss flowers and decorations. I find that my couples are very creative and that a lot of my brides hand make decorations for their big day because they are artistically creative, but also because it is a

At Jason Tey Photography, we specialise in breathtaking and emotive wedding and pre-wedding photography. I love that I'm invited into a world that isn't my own and I get to capture moments, relationships and interactions that I would probably never otherwise encounter. During the day my couples trust me completely even if we've never met. For them, it's a journey... their emotions go through highs and lows and through all that, I'm there. They'll laugh and cry and not only will they allow me to photograph that, they'll welcome it. I have fun but I work hard all day long to make better and better images and that pursuit is both exhausting and relentless. However at the end of the day I'll find my couple and congratulate them with a hug. It's like I've travelled on an adventure with them and we've arrived at the same destination. They made it to the end and so did I and I'm really, sincerely happy for them. I definitely love that feeling. I want my couples to enjoy successful marriages. My biggest gift to them is that they
