For soprano and piano; first performance 9 December, 2018 by soprano Sara Duchovnay and pianist Hilary Griffiths.
Based on the writings of Mark Twain, this quirky, humorous love story reveals the roots of a life-long love. Eve thinks of herself as an "experiment," at whose core is a love of all things beautiful. She is intrigued by another "experiment" shaped like a carrot; it may be a reptile, but is possibly a man. The two learn to live with, and depend upon, each other, especially when forced out of their private paradise.
