Scuba Diving By Erika Velazquez
Have you ever dived? Do you know Mexico is one of the best dive sites? Diving is a sport with a great tourist importance it shows marine diversity and coexistence between humans and sea animals, diving is an amazing experience where you explore the “underwater secrets and ruins of cultures. In Mexico there are different ways of diving not only with scuba, for example diving with sharks, diving exploration, submarine tours, scuba diving as a sport, etc. These activities promote Mexican tourism and according to the ranking of the best dive places Mexico has the first and second place, with "Riviera Maya" and "Cozumel". Some features make Mexico one of the best places in the world for diving are crystal clear waters, coral reefs, species diversity life and also tempered their waters.
Finally diving is a sport that allows to the practitioner learning, admires the marine world and teaches about breathing control. Diving creates an awareness in the scuba diver because you live with the flora and fauna unfortunately awareness also is created when you look how did human can pollute the sea, rivers, lakes, ponds, etc., because in more than once you will find rubbish in deep sea, so we must keep clean this ecosystem.
To begin Scuba diving has many advantages for example scuba divers have great freedom of movements under the water because they should wear fins and the equipment is lightweight. Increase the levels of lung capacity, you can enjoy the view and you know species that you never dream to know. In spite of this sport has some disadvantages for example limited dive time, the method of communicating, you have to learn about the breathing control and the pressure can cause headaches. It is said that men can suffer more easily ear trauma than women but, women can suffer more easily accidents such as decompression sickness, oxygen poisoning, eye microhaemorrhages, etc.

Is Wine Healthy? By Sahid López García
Red wine has been studied intensively through the years with impressive results, suggesting it may promote a longer life expectancy, protect against certain cancers, improve mental health, and provide benefits to the heart. The benefits of drinking red wine are several. Here are a few highlights: Alcohol, if you drink it moderately, is a vasodilator. This means that it makes your veins and arteries get wider, therefore improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure. (Combat hypertension)
"Wine is the most healthful and most hygienic of beverages." Louis Pasteur
Red wines contain flavonoids, polyphenols, tannins and anthocyanins which are extremely powerful antioxidants. (They scavenge for and “depure” free radicals - which are linked to developing cancer and premature ageing.) Polyphenols, in particular resveratrol also provide a number of cardiovascular benefits. It's a new discovery, but research suggests that resveratrol may protect blood vessels from damage, reduce VLDL (very low density lipoproteins), prevent blood clots and combat against obesity and diabetes by increasing the effectiveness of insulin in the body.
Wine is good raising levels of omega-3 fatty acids (vs. another alcoholic drinks), and also raises HDL cholesterol (the “good” cholesterol”), we know that HDL and omega-3 fatty acids protects against coronary heart disease. Ironically, wine consumption reduces the risk of liver disease (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) by half compared to people who never drank wine, moderation is the key word. Moderate wine consumption is said to be good for the health, it means one glass per day for women and two glasses per day for men. Happy Tasting!

5 Reasons why you shouldn’t fear fat By Miriam de la Rosa
For years, fat has been the torment of the dietary universe. Even, in last decades the food industry is too happy showing off new kinds of “low fat” and “fat free” products to meet people demand. Thanks to scientific research, nowadays, we know that the fat content of our favourite foods is not necessarily bad for our health or to blame for the obesity epidemic. Fat, at least right amounts of the right types, is an important part of any healthy diet. Here is a list of very important reasons why you shouldn’t fear fat in your diet…
ENERGY PRODUCTION Fat is a crucial component to obtain energy, alongside protein and carbohydrates. For every gram of fat the body takes in 9 calories of energy are produced (carbohydrates and proteins only produce 4 calories per gram consumed). For that reason, fat is actually the most efficient of the three when it comes to providing your body with energy. So by skipping fat, you will have to consume more calories, usually from carbohydrates, to produce the same amount of energy and your objective of lose weight or improve their health it becomes complicated.
HEALTHIER SKIN Fat, specifically saturated fat, protects your skin from the sun. A person that does not get enough fat in their diet is more likely to see their skin wrinkle, sunburn and even develop cancer. This is why people have used coconut oil, a fruit loaded in naturally occurring saturated fat, on their skin for centuries. Omega-3 fatty acids prevent the skin from oxidation, which is what UV rays do to the skin. You can find this kind of fat in avocado, oilseeds like nuts and almonds, and fishes.

CARDIOVASCULAR AND BRAIN HEALTH Fat plays a key role in maintaining the health of the hearth and preventing heart disease. According to scientists, the right amount of fat in the diet proves to be beneficial in fighting off heart disease because the presence of fat reduces the level of a low and very low density lipoproteins, substances that are believed to be a direct causes of heart disease. On the other hand, your brain is mostly fat, and without fat, this organ would have a very hard time functioning. Consuming fat, specifically saturated fat, provides the raw materials that brain needs to maintain and regenerate itself. VITAMIN ABSORPTION Fat is the vehicle by vitamins A, D, E and K which means that the body absorbs and stores these vitamins in fat cells.
CURBING CRAVINGS
Not taking in enough fat means that you will also make it harder for your body to absorb and store these vitamins that aid in all kinds of bodily functions like the immune system, gene expression, and bone production. Let’s face it. The average appetite craves a certain amount of fatty food. By depriving yourself of fat, however, what often happens is that the body demands more food than would normally be necessary in order to compensate. As you can see, fat can be your best ally to be healthy inside and out. What matters is to recognize the correct type and quantities you should consume. In order to obtain healthy fats, you must increase your intake of vegetables fats (contained in cooking oils, nuts, and some fruits like avocado) and animal fats like milk and fishes, one or twice portions per day. A portion of healthy fats consists in: 1 sp. of olive oil, 10 almonds or 1/3 piece of avocado, for example.
A strict low-fat diet can fail when, in a moment of weakness, the craving for some fatty food comes out in full force and leads to a meal with pizza, nachos and ice cream.
In other words, you are not doing your body any favors if your diet consists of only celery and carrot sticks! We hope that this information has been helpful and you continue on the lookout for our next publications.

THE MOST FAMOUS MEXICAN DIRECTORS AND THEIR SUCCESS IN HOLLYWOOD
Alfonso Cuarón, Alejandro G. Iñárritu and Guillermo Del Toro, all born in the sixties, are known as "the 3 Friends" of Mexican cinema. The three filmmakers have had a wonderful success in Hollywood. How did they end there?
In my opinion I feel proud of those people who were born in Mexico and their success in Hollywood, because somehow, they raise the mentality and Mexican art. However, the cinematographers remains there. The producers are there, the actors, work teams, etc. The industry in Mexico forced those talents to leave from here to be exploded in open places.
