WELCOME It gives me great pleasure on behalf of the organising team to extend a very warm welcome to everyone who has joined us for Solihull Scout County Camp, Discovery 2017. Why name the camp “Discovery”? Our vision is that all participants will: Discover new friendships whilst rekindling existing ones. Discover new activities and skills, with some finding the courage to take part and others stepping outside of their comfort zones. Discover just how big our scouting family is within Solihull, it’s not very often Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Leaders, Helpers, Network, SAS, District/ County Executives & County Management team all gather together in one location to celebrate the fantastic scouting that thrives within our county. There is much to see & do over the weekend, this handbook will help guide you around site & contains the full programme & timetable for the camp. It also serves as a useful source of information. I look forward to meeting many of you over the weekend. Have fun!
