Bsharri Mostly known as the birthplace of Lebanon’s famous poet artist and philosopher Khalil Gibran. It lies in the Bsharri District of the North Governorate in Lebanon and is about 120 km of the city of Beirut

Bsharri, a quaint and welcoming town nestled in the heart of the Qadisha Valley in northern Lebanon, is rich in history, natural beauty and culture. Bsharri town, 1,500 meters above sea level, is capped by the emblematic millennium cedar forest called Arz el Rab (Cedars of the Lord) and Qornet el Sawda, which, at 3,088 meters, is the highest point in Lebanon.

Bsharri municipality / urban strategy is focusing on urban interaction to connect the Cedars of God with its surrounding to prosper the economical development through regenerative process.

A 60 CENTIMETER TELESCOPE DONATED BY JAPAN WILL BE SET UP BY NDU UNIVERSITY AL AL ZANANIR PEAK (3073M)

“THIS WILL BE THE HIGHEST OBSERVATORY IN THE ARAB WORLD, HIGHER THAN THE NATIONAL OBSERVATORY IN TURKEY”

THE ONLY OTHER OBSERVATORIES IN THE WORLS AT A COMPARABLE ALTITUDE WOULD BE THOSE IN SWITZERLAND, ETHIOPIA, INDIA, CHILE AND HAWAII.

IT IS A FOUR SEASON RESORT DESIGNATION. THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE A PLACE TO LIVE WORK ANS PLAY AND RAISE THE BAR FOR RESPONSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE SKI RESORT IN LEBANON , ADJACENT TO THE CEDARS OF GOD INCLUDING BUSINESS DISTRICT, FRIENDLY FAMILY NEIGHBERHOOD, VIBRANT MIXED USE STREETS AND HOTELS DISTRICTS.

CEDARS VENUE AND TECH HUB WILL HOST EVENTS AND CONCERTS.IT WILL THRIVE TO SUPPORT BUSINESSES BY CREATING HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS,DEVELOPERS, AND TECH COMPANIES TO PROMOTE OF IDEAS AND INNOVATION.
