Alfredo Salvatori Established in the late 40s, Alfredo Salvatori soon stood out for its innovative approach to the time-honoured natural stone industry. Alongside the more traditional products, the company’s range of natural stone materials is used to create unique floor and wall collections in new sizes. The continuous scouting for new materials and the on-going research into new design possibilities makes for a constantly renewed “catalogue” of products. The company’s keen interest in contemporary international design has led to the production of a range of solid stone products including sinks and mouldings. The company has recently been recognized by the ICE (the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade) as the most innovative company in the natural stone industry. In addition, some of its products are now featured at the Museum of Science and Industry in Los Angeles where it also supplied the cladding for the MOMA.

Initial Washing The initial wash is aimed at removing any laying residues and biulding grime. Not use acid or strong basic detergent because the surface can be damaged. Product: Fila PS87 diluited 1:10 in water Performance: 5 L. per 100 mq. Equipment: Single-disc professional polisher fitted with not abrasive pads and liquid vacuum cleaner. Procedure: The initial wash is a fundamental opartion in order to remove any laying residues and biulding grime. The wash is carried out with Fila PS87 (diluited in 10 water parts) supported with professional polisher and liquid vacuum cleaner. This operation can be done with a long-handled brush or a piece of cloth. In this case it is recommended to rinse it quite often into a washing solution. Internal floors treatment with solvent basis products This kind of treatment ensures to the florr the best protection against the stains and makes easier the follwing routine maintenance Product: Fila Fob (oil repellent agent and anti stains agent) Fila Matt (liquid wax with matt effect) Coverage: Fila Fob 10 - 15 L pro 100 mq. Fila Matt 3 - 5 L pro 100 mq for each coat. Equipping: Flat brush or fleece for the application Procedure: When the surface is completely clean and dry, Fila Fob to be applied avently and continuosly with a brush. The day after apply a frst coat of Fila Matt and after 4 hours the second coat of the same wax. Wait at least 4 hors and the surface has dried up Routine maintenance The aim of the routine maintenance is to remove dirt and scuff marks. The routine maintenance must be carried out regulary with products that will not manage the protection provided by the initial treatment. Product: Fila Cleaner 1:200 diluited in water Coverage: As required Equipment: cloth or sponge Procedure: for routine maintenance, dilute Fila Cleaner 1:200 in water. Wipe a cloth wet with this solution over the floor until cleaned as required. Rinse very well. To restore the finish wax, diluite Fila Matt 1:1 in water and then apply it with a fleece on the clean surface.. Special maintenance: When the film of the finish wax is old you can restore removing the old film and then apply the thew layer of the finish wax. Product: Fila PS87 (wax remover) 1:5 diluted in water. Coverage: as required Equipment: cloth or spomge Procedure: for special maintenance, dilute Fila PS87 1:5 in water. The wash is carried out with Fila PS87 (diluted in 5 water parts) supported with professional polisher and liquid vacuum cleaner. This operation can be done with a longhandled brush or a piece of cloth. In this case it is recommended to rinse it quite often into a washing solution. When the old wax is completely removed and the floor is clean apply the new coat of Fila Matt.
