Lifting chain pewag winner pro G12
Purpose: Mounting and lifting/transporting loads.
Temperature application range: -60 °C to 200 °C.
Load capacity:
The coefficient for the static test = 2.5 x load capacity respective of the chain segment.
Attention: the load capacity and in turn the test force for the static test of the individual chain segments (e.g. an individual chain strand of a multi-leg lifting chain) differs from the total load capacity.
Reduction factors
The maximum load capacity of the chain sling arises from multiplying the load capacity on the tag with the corresponding reduction factor according to the table as well as the accompanying factors in the table on page 28.
-60 °C to 200 °C above 200 °C to 300 °C above 300 °C
Reduction factor 1 0,6 not permissible
Lifting chains pewag winner G10 and Nicroman G8
Purpose: Mounting and lifting/transporting loads.
Temperature application range: -40 °C to 200 °C.
Load capacity:
WIN… Load capacity for winner Standard-lifting chains
Ni....... Load capacity for Nicroman G8 Standard lifting chains
Lifting chains pewag winner inox G5
Purpose: Mounting and lifting/transporting loads.
Temperature application range: -40 °C to 400 °C.
Load capacity:
* When using an eye sling hook HSK 16 to batch code F
** When using an eye sling hook HSK 16 from batch code G and/or slings without eye sling hooks. The coefficient for the static test = 2.5 x load capacity respective of the chain segment. Attention: the load capacity and in turn the test force for the staticl test of the individual chain segments (e.g. an individual chain strand of a multi-leg lifting chain) differs from the total load capacity.
Reduction factors
The maximum load capacity of the chain sling arises from multiplying the load capacity on the tag with the corresponding reduction factor according to the table as well as the accompanying factors in the table on page 28.
Misapplication: the use with chemical substances (e.g. acids, alkalis, and the fumes released by these substances), food, cosmetics or pharmaceutical products is only allowed under certain conditions and each individual case requires the prior approval of pewag – especially with food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
Lifting chains pewag winner inox G6 plus
Purpose: Mounting and lifting/transporting loads.
Temperature application range: -40 °C to 350 °C.
Load capacity:

Special lifting chains winner fire for use in hot-dip galvanisation
Purpose: Mounting and lifting/transporting loads to be galvanized. In doing so, the chains go through a repetitive work cycle „stripping” and “galvanising”. The chains can be used in a 15 % hydrochloric acid pickling bath and also in a zinc bath. Light material removal through the acid and the zinc is normal.
Temperature application range: -40 °C to 30 °C (pickling bath) or 475 °C (zinc bath).
Load capacity:
The coefficient for the static test = 2 x load capacity respective of the chain segment.
-40 °C to 30 °C (pickling bath) or 475 °C (zinc bath) factor 1
Misapplication: Not to be used with chemicals or other higher concentrated acids not stated in this instruction manual.
Testing: The chains should be visually inspected after they have been thoroughly cleaned (stripped). Do not test above the maximum load capacity! This would increase the risk of stress corrosion cracking.
Declaration of conformity
in accordance with the principles provided in Annex II A of the machinery directive 2006/42/EG as well as the machinery safety order (MSV) 2010 for lifting chains:
