This book is a collection of Celtic recipes from 67 cooks in Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, Isle of Man and Cornwall. It covers a range of recipes including traditional dishes rooted in Celtic past, and some that are at the forefront of modern cooking. The Celts lived off the land providing them with some of the best ingredients possible. With excellent and unspoilt coastlines the fish, shellfish and sea vegetables are plentiful. Inland rivers sport good fish too and the Celts have always bred the finest breeds of cattle, pigs and sheep. The hedgerows, moors and open spaces harbour a myriad of exciting untamed ingredients to add flavour such as berries, blossoms, fungi and herbs. Publishing categories: Food & Drink
