Logout We don't leave security to chance! An obvious signout button encourages responsible use. Note that if a user logs in from a different workstation, session termination will automatically cancel the previous session.

Reports Queue Schedule reports to run overnight or on the weekend, then later return to your personnel report queue to review your complete list of reports.

Schools List The schools that appear in this list will depend on what personal access privileges you have in PowerSchool. With the right permission you can quickly jump to another school, or into District Office where you can select and run reports for all students in the district.

Student Enrollment and Registration - Three Easy Steps! 1

1. Quick Start Enroll a new student first by entering a few identifying characteristics to initiate the duplicate checking process.

Bread Crumbs A helpful way to track your navigation path through PowerSchool, or quickly access a previous page without using back and forward arrows.

3. Map and Transfer Family Data Select siblings and submit. All related data instantly populates the new student record.

2. Check for Possible Duplicates PowerSchool runs a duplicate check against every possible match across the entire district. Previously enrolled students who transferred out are included in results. Click on a student’s name to examine further. Previously enrolled students may be reactivated, restoring all historical data. If the student left and returned during the same term, course enrollments may be restored, instantly repopulating teacher class rosters. If the student was not previously enrolled, click the “Enroll” button.

Student Profile The Student Profile contains all the information associated with a student and is accessible with the fewest clicks possible. Graduation Progress Set multiple graduation tracks with varying requirements and course requirements. Review student progress for courses complete, in progress, and still needed.

Discipline Discipline logs may be initiated by teachers or administrators and edited at a later date. A studentâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s complete discipline history is neatly presented on a single page which displays summary information.

Fee Transactions Find the current lunch balance and review all fee transactions for each student.

Demographics PowerSchool leverages an intelligently designed relational database which allows you to enter data once and have all necessary data updated throughout the system, sparing you from time consuming, repetitive data entry.

For Administrators: Enrollment and Registration Entering new students into PowerSchool is a quick 3-step process. Duplicate prevention and family data mapping ensure clean and accurate data in the quickest way possible. Multi-Language Support The new language translation toolkit gives more flexibility to managing the entire system. Change a single word or change the language of the entire system with a few clicks. Grade Reporting Assignments and current and final grades are available in realtime, directly from either the student records or the teacher grade book, making grade reporting and searching easy and convenient. Grade reporting features include automated workflow between the teacher grade book and the school or district office’s student records, automatic and configurable GPA, Honor Roll and Class Rank calculations, and a wide variety of built-in reports. Attendance Attendance can be taken from the office or classroom, for the entire day or by class. A wide range of built-in interactive attendance reports are available for real-time reporting, supporting class and student management. Custom reporting enables users to create custom reports designed for their unique needs. State Provincial Reporting PowerSchool provides state-of-the-art data collection and reporting tools for school districts, allowing them to manage their reporting needs and keep up-to-date with data reports and data submissions to meet current state or provincial requirements (not available for all US states or Canadian provinces). Family Management PowerSchool’s central database design makes even the largest family easy to manage. Simple searching, selecting, and copying of important family information can be done quickly for all family members across an entire district. Other features, such as co-teaching, give further flexibility to classroom management by allowing any number of teachers and staff access to a section, with their own level of security access. The new PowerTeacher mobile app is also available, giving teachers more freedom while staying connected. Progress and Report Cards With PowerSchool, all progress reports and report cards will be generated in the central office and marks from multiple teachers will automatically aggregate onto a single student report. Still, teachers need a variety of reports to help assess the needs of their students.
