With the success of the 2013 guide, the Big Issue asked me for a repeat performance. This year I secured interviews with Rudimental, Metronomy, chef John Gregory-Smith and cult rock mob the Pixies. And wrote up bespoke festival listings for four regions across the UK.
To extend the lifespan of the print campaign (available for only a week), I also engineered an online campaign offering the Big Issue the long original versions of each interview to host , then tweet to draw traffic to their website. This was to garner artist and PR support with retweets and sharing via social media, extending the online visibility of the campaign and giving readers more exclusive in depth content.
