Marvel Avengers: Battle For Earth Smashing onto Xbox Kinect and Nintendo’s brand new WiiU, this splendid little brawler will have Marvel fans beating a path to its door. Playing classic characters such as Hulk, Magneto, Venom, Spiderman and nearly 20 more, each equipped with four super powers, you must use a range of physical movements to unleash a barrage of special moves and knockout blows to defend the earth from the ‘Secret Invasion’ of the Skrulls. Bashing through some classy comic-styled arenas, with split-screen and multiple game play modes, just be careful you don’t stub your super toe on the furniture.

ZombiU ZombiU is a fear-injected first-person survivor shooter that makes the most of the WiiU’s hand-held tablet. In a real twist to zombie blasters of the past, you play one of the ‘unprepared’, thrown into an incredible graphic interpretation of London. However, here it’s ‘one character, one life’ meaning that as soon as you get infected, you take on the role of a new survivor in your endeavours to live through the undead apocalypse. The real clincher, though, is the vulnerability imposedby the use of the tablet screen, forcing you to look down – and away from the next killer attack!

PlayStation AllStars Battle Royale A frantic, up to fourplayer beat-em-up with all your favourite PlayStation icons. With over 23 classic characters from Parappa The Rapper to Uncharted’s Nathan Drake, Jak and Daxter to Sackboy, you jump into mad battle arenas combining more mash-up cameo backdrops from the PS world. Each character has about two dozen attacks, with item pickups and a ‘Super System’ power-up mode that will transform your character into a fighting behemoth. Better still, with ‘cross buy’ if you buy the digital or boxed PS3 game, you get the Vita download free and can ‘cross-play’ between the systems.

Devil May Cry Welcome to the gothic horror world of Dante the demon hunter in this visual feast of a prequel. Set in limbo between a demonic hell and a future reality, you begin in a hive of demonic carousels and fairground rides using Dante’s beloved sword Rebellion, his guns Ebony and Ivory, and a series of awesome, style-scored special attacks, all of which can be upgraded throughout. The training chapters make this perfect for newbies too, as you uncover the mysterious story of The Order and Dante’s past: journeying through ferocious dreamscapes in a truly challenging fighter/ third person hybrid.
