WORLD-CLASS CLUBBING Zouk, Singapore Since opening its doors in March 1991, six months before London’s Ministry of Sound, Zouk has grown into one of the most exciting clubs on the planet. ‘Zouk’ – meaning ‘village party’ in Creole – was the brainchild of owner Lincoln Cheng, set on sharing his discovery of the US and European club scene of the late 80s with the people of Singapore.
