MILG, Bangsamoro READi all set for governance day 2023
COTABATO CITY – In his official message for the 4th Bangsamoro Foundation Day celebration, Minister Naguib G. Sinarimbo of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) and Head of the Bangsamoro
“Una, ang message natin ay unity, second ay 'yung enhancement' nung achievement na ng BARMM, including yung peace and security, but more importantly 'yung inroads into development 'yung unti-unting pag-angat 'nung kabuhayan sa rehiyon natin,” said lawyer Sinarimbo who also chairs the Development Administration Committee (DACom) of the Bangsamoro Economic and Development Council (BEDC) of the BARMM.

“For the 4th Founding Anniversary of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, booth festival and service delivery parin [para] doon sa mga kababayan natin, so magpapatuloy tayo magbigay ng serbisyo...'yung mga iba'tibang Ministries, like yung sa amin we will continue to service local government units, 'yung Bangsamoro READi will continue to provide services sa mga nagre-request na mga kababayan natin,” the Minister added.
The MILG, as Chairperson of the BEDC's DAComm, will spearhead the Bangsamoro Governance Day as part of the weeklong celebration. The oneday event on January 23, 2023, aims to showcase innovative practices of constituent Bangsamoro local government units (LGUs), as well as recognize LGUs and local leaders who have demonstrated exemplary performance and moral governance in their areas of jurisdiction.
The Bangsamoro Governance Day will include the following events: Ugnay Kaalaman: Learning Expo and Photo Gallery (LGUs' Innovative Practices and Highlights of Accomplishments on the First Phase of Bangsamoro Transition); and Pagkilala: 3rd Awarding for Performing Bangsamoro LGUs.
Apart from the major events planned for Governance Day on January 23, various services from DACom member Ministries will be available to Bangsamoro residents in Service Booths set up within the Bangsamoro Government Center.
The Bangsamoro Attorney General's Office (BAGO) will provide "Kape, Pandesal, at Usapang Legal (Legal Consultation Services)," which will include legal consultation, Shari'ah consultation, and simple document notariza- tion. The Civil Service Commission - BARMM will provide legal advice on CSC matters; requests for Correction of Personal Information (COPI); and No Pending Administrative Case (No PAC) certification services; Appeal advice; and Book Sales of 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions/ Distance Learning Program/2017 Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service (ORAOHRA/ DLP/2017 RACCS); while the Bangsamoro Information Office will provide free photographylectures.
The Ministry of Finance, Budget, and Management will distribute Budget Magazines and MFBM Services Materials, and the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro (DAB) will hand out training request forms and brochurePPAs.
In their service booth, the Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) will spearhead the distribution of housing loan application forms with proper orientation, survey forms on BARMM employees' housing preferences, pamphlets and brochures on the checklist of requirements for the issuance of locational clearance and licenses, and leaflets on the MHSD's programs and services.
Administrative Management Services of the Office of the Chief Minister (AMS OCM) will provide job interview tips, distribute knowledge products on RSP, L&B, SPMPS, CompBen, Rewards and Recognition, Consultation on Records Management, TLB Claims Guidance, Bangsamoro Book Exhibit, Photo Booth, BLA Drink and Play, and Free Shuttle Services. The
OCM's Technical Management Services will include an exhibit of OCM Milestones, distribution of IEC Materials related to OCM programs, projects, and activities, technical documentation of all Governance Day activities, and participation in the Committee's Food Showcase.
Finally, the MILG BARMM will distribute print materials about its programs and services, while the Bangsamoro READi will have a medical team on standby for Governance Day.
"As the theme goes, SamaSamang Pagtataguyod sa Mas Mapayapa at Mas Masaganang Bangsamoro,' we can only succeed if we work together. January 21 is not only a day to remember our martyrs and families who are no longer with us, but it is also a day to remind us to do our best for future generations," Chief Minister Ebrahim concluded in his Anniversary Message.
