NZSM Structure Main structure consists of glulam moment frames. Diagonal columns are supported by steel rigid joints piled to foundations. Force is tied back to the perimeter columns and transfered down to the ground. Ply shear walls in both transverse and longitudinal directions supporting lateral earthquake loads. Glulam arches with timber truss system supports PTFE facade and suspends two floors beneath with steel tension cables. Smaller trusses frovide lateral resistance.
