Housing That Drives Member Satisfaction

YOU HAVE ADVANCED COLLEGIATE HOUSING THAT DRIVES MEMBER SATISFACTION.

Maintaining a competitive living and learning environment is vital to the future of so many Pi Phi chapters. For this reason, I’m proud to have made my SHINE THROUGH campaign gift to support renovation and expansion efforts to the Indiana Gamma Chapter facility I once called home.

Currently, the Indiana Gamma Chapter house lacks a space large enough to hold all members for weekly chapter meetings. The dining room is too small to accommodate all members at one dinner seating. For the facility to remain a competitive living option for today’s college students, critical renovations and updates are needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms.

While my college experience was wonderful — making lifelong friendships, experiencing leadership opportunities and learning the importance of philanthropic service — only as an alumna have I fully understood the magnitude of what it means to be a member of Pi Beta Phi. I know the chapter house is the setting for my fondest college memories. I know some of the greatest lessons of my college years were learned inside the chapter house. And, I know the experience of living with my sisters, who shared my values, contributed to my success. I also know that I must do what I can to ensure future generations of Pi Phi women have the opportunities I did while living in the Indiana Gamma Chapter house.

When donors invest in housing, they invest in an opportunity for young women to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. An opportunity to live surrounded by women who share their values and commitments in the years they most need the support and encouragement of their peers. Housing is complex and needs are changing. Our sisters need living and meeting spaces that support their educational pursuits. With the support of donors, we can continue to provide a premier housing experience for future Pi Phis.
