6th Grade Developmental Volleyball

grades 6th r$168 N$188f Come join the fun and engaging game of volleyball! Become more knowledgeable and develop a solid understanding of the game through individual and team drills as well as intramural scrimmages. Program meets on Wednesdays and Fridays.

PMS 7th Grade Volleyball

grades 7th r$415 f Grow as a player and teammate; deepen your knowledge of the game of volleyball; be challenged by coaches that are eager to see you develop; and have a blast representing the Scots Volleyball Program by playing against neighboring schools! Piedmont Middle School enrollment is required.

Mandatory preseason evaluations are used to assess talent for team placements. There will be no “cuts.” Preseason Evaluations are scheduled for Wednesday, August 18th (2:15pm–3:45pm) and Friday, August 20th (3:30pm–5:00pm).

Piedmont Recreation Department & PMS Boosters

Each year Piedmont Recreation Department is proud to partner with PUSD and the Piedmont Middle School Boosters to provide competitive interscholastic athletic programs for Piedmont Middle School Students. PRD serves as the PMS Athletic Department including hiring and training coaches, organizing games and tournaments for each team. PRD works with Boosters to ensure every athlete succeeds on the field, in the gym, and in the classroom.

PMS Cross Country

grades 6th–8th r$280f Cross Country practice fosters running for endurance, improving form, warm-up exercises, cool down and building our core muscles through running! There will be meets with other middle schools where 6th graders run a mile and 7th and 8th graders 1.25 miles. Students must be able to run a mile or 12 minutes continuously (whatever comes first) at any speed, and participate at least one day a week. Registration cost includes a jersey. Piedmont Middle School enrollment is required.

PMS Flag Football

grades 6th–8th r$403f Grow, learn, be challenged and have a blast in this fall’s Flag Football program! Develop individual and team skills and build strong comradery with your teammates and coaches. Grade levels might be combined depending on numbers. A minimum of 16 participants required for the program to run. Piedmont Middle School enrollment is required.
