Jewelry Making: Beading Basics

In this beginner beading class, get to know the tools of the trade, and all the techniques you need to know to start creating unique, dazzling beaded jewelry from scratch! Painting: Birds of a Feather

Clay: Pinch, Coil & Slab

Creative Drama: Puppetry
ages 6–10 r$198 N$223 This program introduces students to the magical world of puppetry through hands-on craft projects, exploration, and performance workshops. Each day, students will make puppet crafts and explore different styles of puppetry through use of puppets and various media. On the final day, students will present a variety show using the puppets they have made throughout the program. A great time is guaranteed for all!

Projects evolve with each student’s pace. There are a variety of projects such as boats, trucks, bird feeders, doll furniture, airplanes, etc. Please wear closed toe shoes. Clay & Crafts Exploration
ages 5–7 Every other week will be dedicated to clay projects. We will explore ways to make clay animal sculptures, dragons, castles & houses, penguins jars, jewelry boxes, plates, bowls— sky’s the limit, it’s your choice. Alternating weeks will be craft time. Past projects for crafts weeks have been: light jars, mosaics, slime making, sun prints, marbleized rock painting, and exploding chalk!
For Session III, basic ceramic building and finishing skills will be taught. Instructor will lead classes to make clay animal sculptures, dragons, castles and houses, penguins jars, jewelry boxes, plates, bowls, or even your favorite video game character. Clay, Crafts & Goodies
ages 8–13 Every other week will be dedicated to clay projects. We will explore ways to make clay animal sculptures, dragons, castles & houses, penguins jars, jewelry boxes, plates, bowls, or even your favorite video game character...sky’s the limit, it’s camper’s choice. Wheel throwing will be taught if classes are allowed indoors. Alternating weeks will be craft time. Past projects for crafts weeks have been: game making, mosaics, slime making, mix media sculpture, marbleized rock painting, exploding chalk, and cracked marbles!
Wednesdays we will start the day by preparing a special snack together outside. Students have chosen to have hot chocolate, pizza, quesadillas, muffins, cupcakes, ice cream sundaes and more. Some food will be made by students and some ahead of time by the instructor. A delicious mid-week treat.
