Kids’ Carpentry

Kids Carpentry teaches children the safe use of hand tools in a fun environment Kids build their own wooden projects from scratch, gaining experience in physical engineering, applied math, problem solving and patience The lessons, projects and tools evolve with each student’s individual pace . We build from a variety of project examples such as boats, trucks, bird feeders, doll furniture, spinning tops, airplanes, shelves, boxes, games and much more Please wear closed toe shoes

Children explore the world of creating something from various materials! Class works with a variety of mediums and materials, including paints, clay-molding with plaster gauze, drawing and glueing Students construct and build while increasing awareness to color, textures, free flowing designs as they express their own creativity This class is a small group with close individual instruction in a quiet home-like setting Each fun project is designed so the student can build and apply what they’ve learned in the prior class—increasing their awareness, excitement and self-satisfaction of creating something from nothing! Must be pottytrained

Back to School with Pete the Cat

Want to learn the basics of digital photography with your parent? Want to develop your skills? If so, this class is for you . Learn about lighting, composition, and subject matter We’ll take photos in our classroom to experiment with portraits and learn about indoor photography and in the neighborhood to learn about landscapes and setting We’ll also review the images Most importantly, we’ll have a lot of fun . Bring your cell phone, ipad, or digital camera You’ll receive individual instruction on using your device This class is for you and your parent if you’re the one wanting to digitally capture your time with friends, the photographer at your holiday events, or fascinated by nature Please join me in sharing my photographic passion with you Class fee is for one adult and one child Siblings are discounted 50% .
