Basic hand building techniques and tool use is covered, but the emphasis is on exploration and fun Projects are taught each class but students are welcome to come up with their own ideas This is a great, no pressure introduction and continuation to ceramics Material

We will explore ways to hand build clay animal sculptures, houses, penguins and monster jars, jewelry boxes, plates or even your favorite video game character . On the wheel, we will learn how to throw bowls, cups and vases Sky’s the limit, it’s student’s choice A variety of craft projects will be taught Past craft projects: resin pouring, light jars, mix media sculpture, marbleized paintings, lava lamps and fidget cubes On Wednesdays, kids vote on a midweek snack to enjoy Material Fee: $60 session i r$564 N$594

Most importantly, we’ll have a lot of fun Bring your cell phone, ipad, or digital camera You’ll receive individual instruction on using your device This class is for you if you’re the one wanting to digitally capture your time with friends, the photographer at your holiday events, or fascinated by nature Please join me in sharing my photographic passion with you
