Ready to take your first step on your jewelry making journey? In this beginner beading class, get to know the tools of the trade, and all the techniques you need to know to start creating unique, dazzling beaded jewelry from scratch! Students will gain the knowledge and skill to create their own jewelry pieces. This class is a prerequisite for all other jewelry making courses. Material Fee: $25

Are you interested in music & theatre? Do you have a passion for singing, acting, or both? Then join Platinum Selling Singer/Songwriter, and Actor Adrian Marcel today! This class focuses on basic theatre, vocal, and instrumental music skills using fun, energetic, and interactive exercises to help enhance all your gifts. At the same time, enjoying the inspiration from other like-minded and equally gifted individuals. Training will include proper breathing/vocal techniques, projection/articulation training, improvisation/role play, and a basic intro to songwriting & music theory that will strengthen everyone’s skills as they are motivated to grow as artist. At the end of each class, the students will have a chance to perform selections of their choosing individually or as groups for their peers. Material Fee: $20

Mixed Media Arts: Honey, I Shrunk My Art!

Discover a tiny world where grass is as big as trees, pebbles are the size of boulders, and flowers make a great umbrella! Students will make a teeny tiny house with teeny tiny furniture and then decorate their little house with wall art and a little gnome to guard it! Next, it’s time to transform colorful buttons, pipe cleaners, sequins, beads, sparkly gems, glue and paper into cute bugs, pretty flowers, and cuddly animals to complete their springtime garden experience! Beginning Knitting
ages 6–12 r$190 N$215
Students learn to knit with step by step instruction, working with two knitting needles and a ball of yarn, to make a scarf, a purse, a hat or a mouse! Using colorful yarns and large size needles, students learn to cast on and use the basic knit and purl stitches, bind off, as well as many knitting terms. Class held in a quiet focused friendly home-like atmosphere.

Creativity Camp

Students will be inspired by renowned fine artists (Frida Kahlo, David Hockney), illustrators (Maurice Sendak, Mary Blair), cartoonists (Charles Shulz), architect Frank Gehry, and designers (Eames) and more to create mixed media artworks. We will create handmade sketchbooks, pop up paper rooms, tote bags, handmade toys, paintings, and mixed media artworks. Material Fee $25

Comics Camp

Create your own characters and story-lines in this unique class. We will learn character development, expressions, body movement, story development and how to make detailed backgrounds (interiors and exteriors) using one point perspective. Students will create the start of a mini comic book by the end of class. All skill levels are welcome. Material Fee $25
