The Intuitive Writing Project
grades 6–8 r$450 N$480
The Intuitive Writing Project is a writing-based empowerment program for girls and gender-expansive youth. We use writing as a tool for building confidence and supporting social, emotional and mental health. As young people write their stories and assert their voice, they discover who they are and who they want to become. We use the Amherst Writing Method, a methodology rooted in the belief that everyone is a writer, all feedback is focused on the strengths of the writer, and our unique writing voice will grow stronger, the more it is expressed and encouraged.
