STEILACOOM
• You must be in line with tickets 20 minutes BEFORE departure time or you may not be allowed to board.
• Ketron Island riders must make reservations 60 minutes BEFORE departure.
• NEVER stop on railroad tracks.
• Follow all direction of the ferry crew.
• Stay in the lanes and drive 5 MPH or slower using parking lights only.
• Drive with caution and slow down for pedestrians.
• Pull as close as you can to the vehicle in front of you, set the parking brake, turn off the engine and headlights. Wait until traffic around you has stopped before opening your vehicle doors.
The trip between Steilacoom and Anderson Island is about 3.5 miles and takes approximately 30 minutes.

Departures from Ketron Island are by reservation only.
• Do not start your vehicle until directed by the crew.
• Walk-on passengers MUST wait in the designated waiting areas until directed by ferry crew to go aboard or ashore.
• Steilacoom terminal parking with valid disability ID only. No terminal parking while ferry is loading or unloading.

Fares
Peak/non-peak season refers to a seasonal change in fares depending on the time of the year.
Vehicle
• Each additional person in the vehicle must pay the applicable passenger fare.
Use
• Youth (ages 6-18) may be required to show valid ID.
• Senior citizens (age 65+) must show valid photo ID.
• Passengers with a disability must show a Regional Reduced Fare Permit, ADA Paratransit Card, or Medicare Card.
• ADA placards and Military VA cards are not acceptable forms of ID.
Value Pass Tickets
• Value Pass tickets are valid for 40 days from date of purchase.
• Expiration date indicated on each ticket.
• Value Pass may be used by only one person per vehicle per trip.
Vehicle Size
• Vehicle length is measured from the furthest protruding point at the front and/or top of the vehicle to the furthest protruding point at the rear and/or top of the vehicle and trailer.
• Vehicles over 8.5 ft. wide will be charged twice the normal rate
• Ferry crew can help with measurements before you buy tickets.
• Vehicles over 8.5 ft. wide, 14 ft. high, and 80 ft. long must contact the ferry operator in advance. To schedule a departure time, call (253) 588–1950 or email PierceFerryAdmin@hmsgm.com.
Refunds
• Refunds for unused single-use tickets from the previous season/year must be requested within 10 calendar days from the start of the new pricing. *1Visit PierceCountyWa.gov/FerryRefund to request a refund.
• No refunds for Value Pass tickets at the normal rate.
