Tokyo Midtown Christmas Market 2017 Results Over 25 days, 16,500 visitors came to the event. More than 120 SKU's from 16 different countries were introduced.
We had 15 sponsors, 3 of which attended the event and explained their wines and spent a wonderful time with our clients. Total Turnover was around 79,500,000 yen.
The fair generated over 2,200 customers of which 1,300 were new.

We would like to inform you about the exciting updates to the
Christmas Market. In December we will embark on what is possibly our most ambitious project yet "CHRISTMAS WINE FESTIVAL 2018 in Tokyo Midtown by PIEROTH" VER 3.0.
The total investment for this project will be well in excess of over JPY50,000,000. This project will again be pivotal for Pieroth
Japan in 2018 and as a result, we need your help and support to make it possible, to ensure your continued success in Japan, after a difficult summer.
Tokyo Midtown in December is filled with many people who come
to see the illumination, it is one of the two major illuminations in
the Roppongi area with over 5 million people attending. To add to this, we have imported real cable cars from the Savoie region of
France, which we have retrofitted with tables and chairs to create unique tasting booths, designed to create a buzz around the event, and will be the focus of our advertising and promotional activities,
in the promotion of the fair. To further maximize attention on social media etc, we have invested this year in another surprise to
be announced in detail later. In fact, we will plan an Instagram campaign around this surprise. Simply our aim is to be the center of attention in Midtown in 2018,

This year’s promotion plan (temporary) • Selling wine by the glass from Enomatic server.
• Mailing out approximately 30,000 invitation cards to OC. (Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa)
• Mailing approximately 160,000 event fliers, enclosing with winter gift catalogues. • SNS advertisement
• Event information in Midtown magazine.
• Event information showing on electric bulletin board at Midtown. • Event information posting on 20 internet sites.
Salespeople : 50-60 salespeople will attend the fair. Target : 100,000 million turnover.

Request for supplier support : As remarked this is an exceptional event and we are looking to work specifically with a select number of suppliers to help with a small part of the huge investment this entails and as a result benefit from the additional sales which it will generate.
Supplier participation : The participation fee for each of the 10-12 companies will be ÂĽ800,000. Given current exchange rates cheaper than last year.
The fair will be a huge investment for us so we need your assistance to make it viable. Supplier physical participation is encouraged and welcomed during part of the fair. As this this could give us an opportunity to compliment the event with staff and press tastings.

- Mass distribution of images and copy.
- ONLY participating supplier’s wines will be used for the tastings/sales during the event. - Create greater awareness of brand among customers and in particular our salespeople. - It should give focus and significant boost to your wines.
- Christmas market supporters will head our start of year campaign in 2019.
- Most importantly this should generate sales above you projected targets for this year. - Cost ÂĽ800,000 for 25 days.
Please let me know if you are interested in joining us in this project by Sept 30th to whelehank@pieroth.jp,
as we are now designing the promotional material and will want to feature participating suppliers. Payment must be made before Nov 15th, 2018.
In addition, we will probably need to order some more wines for the event, which would need to be done now in order to be on time.
