The Reflector VOLUME 1, NUMBER 1 ALPHA ETA CHAPTER SAMFORD UNIVERSITY

SPRING 2009 EDITION

Chapter Update The future cannot look any better for the Alpha Eta chapter at Samford University. We began the 2008-2009 school year by signing an incredible and charismatic pledge class who will undoubtedly further the great reputation of our chapter. By far the most significant highlight of the year was winning the Sweepstakes trophy at Step Sing. Our theme was “Open for Business” in which the entire performance took place in an office setting. Junior, Adam Murphy directed the show and coordinated the music himself which resulted in Best Music award as well. Our chapter involvement in extracurricular activities is at the highest level we have seen in years.

Also, we are currently involved in preparations for an extensive restoration of the fraternity house during the Summer. The house will actually be closed for the duration of the Summer as Alumni and Brothers alike are encouraged to lend a helping hand in the renovations if at all possible. A large get-together will be happening this year (Fall ’09) at Homecoming and we would like to extend an invite to anyone and everyone.

New Members Continuing our tradition of excellence, we have yet another awesome new group of “Shiny Badges or new brothers. They are an extremely close unit of outstanding young men who grew tremendously through the course of pledgeship. Here are our new initiates (and neophytes): Name
