GAMMA BETA CHAPTER ALUMNI NEWSLETTER

OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY RECOLONIZATION: After a period of in activity the Gamma Beta chapter at Old Dominion University is being recolonized with the guidance of several consultants from the national fraternity. As the chapter stands now, we currently have fifty associate members. Current projections have the chapter being fully chartered in the spring of 2014.

September 2013 We will be hosting a number of alumni events in the upcoming semester. This events will include several tailgates as well as sporting events.

Putt-Putt for Push America: Hosted with the help of the national leadership consultants, participants try to sink a golf ball with a putter in the hopes of being entered to win Pi Kapp/ Push America apparel.

Alpha Phi’s Most Wanted: Hosted by Alpha Phi, several Pi Kapps volunteered themselves to be “arrested” and have bail posted against them to raise money for charity. Pie with the Pi Phi’s: Hosted by Pi Beta Phi, several Pi Kapps participated by donating money in exchange for smearing a whipped cream pie on the Pi Phi of their choice. P’franks Fundraiser: Hosted by Alpha Xi Delta, members contributed to Autism Speaks by purchasing meals during the event hours. Pi Phi Speed Read: Hosted by Pi Beta Phi, Pi Kappa Phi entered two teams to compete against other Greek organizations in a Dr. Sues

Intramural Sports: There are currently teams in the A league for volleyball who will be competing in the play offs. There is also a team who will be representing Pi Kappa Phi in soccer for the upcoming season.
