Letter from our Archon

Brothers and Friends of Delta Chapter: It is a great privilege of mine to serve as the Archon of Pi Kappa Phi at Furman. In my time as a brother of this chapter, I feel that I have seen the fraternity come a long way. This year has been an excellent time of growth for our organization, and I am very encouraged to see how we can continue to push our fraternity to make it the ideal chapter. This fall, we achieved the highest male Greek chapter cumulative grade point average. Additionally, we received a multitude of awards at our national leadership conference, including the Founder’s Cup, which is awarded only to the most outstanding chapters in the nation. We recently initiated 19 new undergraduate members along with two alumni members. The brothers of Delta Chapter have served the community tirelessly through organizations both off and on campus, as well as through our local philanthropy, Camp Spearhead. Amidst these achievements and service experiences, the bonds that brothers have created with one another through pledge class activities, brotherhood dinners, weekly support breakfasts, nights out on the town, and evenings at the manor are bonds that are sure to last a lifetime. Week in and week out, we come together in chapter meetings to celebrate this brotherly bond that we have been so fortunate to take part in. My hope is that every man in this chapter will one day look back on his college experience and realize that he was surrounded by the most supportive, most caring, and most fun group of men that he could’ve surrounded himself with. We have so much to look forward to with the new men in our chapter as well as the existing, our executive council, and the supportive alumni and friends of this fraternity. Together, I believe we can create the ideal chapter. Fraternally, Ben Hinson Archon, Pi Kappa Phi - Delta ChapterChapter Address

Delta Chapter Brings Home the Founders Award at Pi Kapp College This January, our Executive Council and key chairmen attended Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers in Charlotte. The experience allowed our brothers to develop their leadership skills and network with other chapters throughout the southeast. At the awards banquet, we received the following awards: Master Chapter, Excellence in Recruitment and Retention, Most Improved in Member Experience, Outstanding Campus Involvement, Champion Master Chapter distinction, and the Founders' Award -- the highest honor given to a chapter of Pi Kappa Phi nationwide! We are proud of our success as a chapter and look forward to the year ahead under the leadership of the 18th EC.

Congratulations to Alpha Epsilon Class

Most Meaningful Pi Kapp Memory

On Friday, March 17th, 19 members of Alpha Epsilon Class were initiated into the brotherhood of Pi Kappa Phi. Among their ranks are their class Vice President, a Varsity Rugby Team athlete and several Pi Kapp legacies. Welcome home Alpha Epsilon!

A few current brothers share their favorite memories they have had in the Delta Chapter Coleman Bergsma (’19) – My favorite memory that I have had so far in the fraternity was Masters weekend last year. We set up a whole golf course at the manor to celebrate The Masters. Ben Hinson (’18) - My first brotherhood retreat, sitting around the fire with a cold one and cramming into the house with all my brothers.
