SPRING 2018

Brothers, in conjunction with Ofce of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Elon and Pi Kappa Phi national headquarters, we will begin the rechartering process of the Epsilon Alpha Chapter. National staff members will lead the expansion efforts to recruit re-founding fathers who share our values beginning on February 5. They will be on campus recruiting until mid-March.

VOLUNTEERS

“It has been well established that chapters with solid alumni involvement are more successful. We need alumnus volunteers to guarantee sucess.”

COUNCIL OF ADVISORS

Once the ofcial expansion is completed, the national ofce will send staff to help the men get the new associate chapter off the ground and running. If you have any recommendations of men who would be good for the chapter – sons, nephews, neighbors, etc. please send their name and contact information to Josh Ricci and Chris Huffman. I have the fortune of serving as the Chapter Advisor and am truly looking forward to working with our new chapter. As a former staff member with the national headquarters, I have enjoyed guiding chapters in their expansion and chartering processes.

Each chapter, though, needs more mature adult guidance than one advisor. As such I am building a Council of Advisors to help support the chapter. Are you willing to help advise the chapter? Pi Kappa Phi is a lifelong commitment and I hope that you will join me in doing your share to help make the new Epsilon Alpha become the ideal chapter. I am pleased to announce that several advisors are in place, Reed LaPlante (’03), Chris Morse (’05), Hunt Cable (’14) and Conner O’Donnell (’14) have already volunteered to serve!

Please contact me if you are interested. Thank you and I look forward to seeing you at Elon Homecoming on November 2-4!

A PUBLICATION OF THE EPSILON ALPHA ALUMNI CHAPTER OF PI KAPPA PHI

THE NEWSLETTER PROGRAM OVERVIEW

EA JOURNAL

It is our goal to publish the EA JOURNAL twice a year. It will include updates from the undergraduate chapter, as well as national headquarters. Upcoming events, both from the chapter, and Elon University will be highlighted. With your help, alumnus highlights, achievements and announcements will be included, along with an alumnus spotlight in each issue. If you know someone that would be a candidate for this feature, please let us know.

The alumni survey conď€ rmed that members want to reconnect; to keep in touch; to celebrate milestones. This is one of the reasons that our National Council has made alumni newsletters a priority.
