Our Chapter house has a 50-man capacity with a balcony on the roof and a patio, with a grill, that leads into the backyard. In the back we have a basketball court, a sand volleyball court and our large parking lot. Our vast backyard allows us to have plenty of events and make lots of amazing memories. In the house we have full kitchen for when you’re hungry and study rooms, with white boards and supplies to assist you with your academics.

The Ability Experience Pi Kappa Phi has the honor of saying that we are the only fraternity to own and run their own philanthropy. The Ability Experience is a foundation to help people with disabilities, both physical and mental. Through events like Journey for Hope and Gear Up Florida, They raise money to host smaller events in local communities across the nation. We, as a chapter, do smaller things like playing basketball with the Special Olympics and …………………………………………… shoveling snow for . our neighbors and . the elderly.

Message from the Archon - Jordan Dewell I never thought that I would join a fraternity in college. I was very introverted growing up which made the idea of Greek Life very uncomfortable to me, but I knew this would be an opportunity for me to grow. The results however far exceeded my expectations. I never expected to make so many friends, make such an impact through our philanthropy, or end up leading such a great group of guys. Pi Kappa Phi has encouraged me to get involved on campus and in the community, stay on top of my academics, and push me to be the best version of myself. If it wasn’t for Pi Kappa Phi at Kansas Stave I would not be the person I am today. If I had to sum up my experience in Pi Kapp, I would have to say that it is the best decision I have ever made.

Message from Chapter Advisor Tim Lindemuth This year marks my 27th year of involvement with Pi Kappa Phi and the Delta Chi Chapter. I owe many many thanks to Mike Kallas, Dave Weixelman and Ed Enyeart for taking me to dinner at the Wareham Hotel those many years ago to ask me to get involved. I can truthfully say my family includes hundreds of sons and, now, many grandsons! I would like to call attention to and offer thanks to several alumni who serve on the chapter’s Council of Alumni Advisers: Professor Tod Kerstetter, Travis Schram, Kevin Jones, Mike Watson, Damian Lair, Phillip Beatty, Dylan McKenzie, Grant Elpers, Scott Kelly, Tobias Scheffler, Brent Brauberger and Josh Edgar. We will be having a spring joint meeting with the executive council of Archon Jordan Dewell. I am seeking two alumni advisers who served as a treasurer and chaplain to fill important rolls with . In addition to my role as chapter adviser, I am also serving the greater K-State Greek community as president of the Alumni Fraternity Council and the overarching Greek executive committee with the presidents of IFC, PHC and the sorority alumnae group. We oversee the operation, budget and supervision of the director of Fraternity and Sorority Life since the separation of the Greek community from Kansas State University in May 2017. I will be directing Pi Kappa Phi’s Ability Experience camp near Kansas City the weekend of Friday night to Sunday noon, April 26-28. Alumni are welcome and encouraged to participate with the undergraduate brothers. The cost to volunteer on some camp work crews is just $20 which includes lodging, meals and a T-shirt. Won’t you join me? I look forward to hearing from you. Send a text or email to 785-320-9001 and timlind@ksu.edu.
