Our Fall 2017 Associate Members
A Succesful Rush - Fall 2017 We began our fall 2017 semester hopeful for a successful fall rush. With a lot of planning and effort from all the brothers we were able to successfully give bids to 17 new associate members. It was a busy two weeks but we couldn’t be more proud of ourselves for recruiting so many new members. We held a number of events over the course of rush including participating in Monarch Beach Bash where our new corn hole boards were put to use and we even served snow cones. Other events we held included a cookout, poker night, dodge ball, and video game night. In addition to all the fun events we also held two interest meetings in order to inform the potential members about the basics of joining our fraternity and their responsibilities as a brother. We ended the two weeks with a fun afternoon hitting golf balls at the Lambert’s Point Golf Course. A huge thank you goes out to our rush chairs Josiah Yikona and Larry Le as well as all of our brothers who put in their time to help us have a successful fall rush. We wish the best of luck to our new associate members as they begin their journey to becoming brothers of our great fraternity.

PedEx 2017 In just a few weeks we will be gearing up for our annual Ability Experience fundraiser PedEx. Brothers will be riding stationary bicycles for 48 hours straight. Brothers can choose to ride for an hour or more if they wish. When it’s time for brothers to switch, the wheels still keep on spinning. This is one of our largest ability experience events of the year and the largest of the semester. We had a very successful PedEx last year and we hope to do excellent again this year.

Looking to keep informed of what the Gamma Beta chapter has been up to? Well you’re in luck! Beginning with this issue we will be publishing a monthly newsletter. We hope the newsletter will keep alumni informed of our achievements and what we have been up to during the semester. Look out for our next newsletter in November which will include updates about our philanthropy events and more information about our alumni founders day dinner on December 9th.
